Breathing is the most powerful tool we possess to improve our well being. It has an immediate impact on the way we show up in life and respond to it. There are countless curveballs life is throwing on our way. Countless aggravating situations where it is our responsibility to choose how we respond. By being in control of your breath, you can regulate your emotions and choose your response in any situation.
In this workshop we discover:
- How to create habits of breath awareness;
- Practicing conscious breathing throughout the day;
- Understand the biomechanics and biochemistry of breathing;
- The biomechanics of breathing is a foundational to breathe more efficiently;
- Exercises and stretches to mobilize and activate the diaphragm and intercostal muscles;
- Nose versus mouth breathing;
- The importance of tongue posture;
- Breathing techniques and polyvagal exercises to activate the parasympathetic system;
- 45 minute guided Breathwork Session.
Breathwork and conscious breathing will create a path to powerful somatic release, help reconnect to your heart, provide emotional and physical release of stuck energy, repressed emotions, blockages, and unprocessed traumas.
Maintaining a consistent connection with your breath each day is the secret to navigating life's challenges with greater ease and grace.
