This class is part of a "mini-immersion series" taking place on three separate occasions in the autumn of 2024 (Sundays after Mysore class). Participants get a chance to delve deeper into the role of the breath in yoga asana practice, as well as for their general well-being. Each class has a special theme that strives to give the participants inspiration and new insights into the importance of the breath for physical and spiritual part of the yoga practice. The goal is to deepen the participants' understanding and knowledge of the function of the breath as well as the basic principles of yoga as practice and philosophy. The theme of the first session is “breath & bandha”.
The class contains both easier and more advanced exercises and are open to all levels of yoga practitioners except complete beginners. One can take part in this individual class, but attending the whole series will be the most beneficial. Class ends with a guided relaxation.
