About this Event
Come along to our Bristol based Milky Memoirs Workshop and make a sentimental resin Milk inclusion Keepsake or piece of jewellery to encapsulate and celebrate a special chapter of your Journey.
Bring along just 5 ml of Breastmilk in or out of date for preservation, hair or even umbilical cord and you can add it into your very own bespoke resin inclusion.
Workshop
Session 1 Preserving & Planning
Preserving milk and planning what kind of creation you would like to create prior to session two.
Making the Jewellery is a process and will require a minimum of two or three Workshop sessions.
Session 2
Crafting with preserved milk and resin to create your desired keepsake or jewellery. This is the most fun part where you'll add whichever kind of inclusions you like, along with colours, silvers, golds ect. You can really make it whatever you like!
Session 3
Finish off Keepsakes & Jewellery if required; for example gluing, filing down or adding silver embellishment/blanks/backs to already dried resin creations from previous workshop sessions.
Due to the lengthy crafting process, understandably we appreciate that individuals may not be able to make certain days to complete the full 3 session process, this is not a problem as you can join other rolling sessions if this is the case once you have paid for the Workshop.
Please just contact us ahead so that we can be aware for calculating numbers of those attending.
included within the booking fee cost will be the use of various resin moulds and materials but if people would like create more specific or particular styles of items then we can discuss them, and help those to order in the relevant jewellery blanks in according to individual liking/preference and these will not be covered within the cost of the course And will need to be ordered and paid for by the person wanting the item separately. We have ring sizers if needed And are happy to share and recommend sites which we use regularly for jewellery blanks.
Otherwise there are also plenty of materials included within the course fee to make a range of beautiful styles of Jewellery & Keepsakes to take away from the Workshop.
