A session to support those who have had a traumatic or difficult breastfeeding experience.
About this Event

We welcome all mothers to this session who have had a traumatic or difficult breastfeeding experience where you weren't able to meet your breastfeeding goals for whatever reason.

This is an in-person event which will be held on Monday 22nd July, 13.30 - 15.30 at:

Maidstone Birth Centre, Maidstone Hospital, Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 9QQ

The purpose of the session is to provide a safe space for mothers to voice/share (if they wish) their experience and to help explore and process their feelings around it.

The session will include: Emotional support, sharing circle, de-brief, relaxation exercises and practical information around breastfeeding, if that is required.

Babes in arms are welcome.

Who is running it?

Tamsin Knott is a midwife with a specialism in maternal perinatal mental health and an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant)

Harriet Rudd is an Infant Feeding Support worker, Breastfeeding Counsellor and a trainee IBCLC.
