"Breast Cancer affects all of us, whether you're a daughter, mother, sister, friend, coworker, doctor, patient" - Jennifer Aniston.Our committee member Sharon was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in early January which was a traumatic time for herself, her family and her friends. So many members of the club were supportive and kind beyond words and Sharon is very grateful for the love which was shown.
Following successful surgery and tests which show a 6% (very low) chance of recurrence she will commence a 3-week course of radiotherapy throughout August and September.
She’s asked the committee for the opportunity to say “thank-you” by hosting a Tea & Coffee Morning in the club with Karen which was fully supported. The even will also raise money for the charity Breast Cancer Now. We will host a raffle and will be grateful for any donations of prizes etc for the cause.
Sharon would welcome support from all. Everyone is welcome 🤗
