Tournament Rules
Eligible participants must be USBC members.
Handicap will be 100 percent of 220.
Entering average:
Previous two season’s highest;
- A composite average of all USBC leagues, including leagues with less than 21 games
If current season average for at least 21 games at the time of bowling exceeds last season’s average by 10 or more pins, current season average must be used (Rule 319a-2).
Reporting of previous tournament winnings will apply (Rule 319d).
The average adjustment rule will apply (Rule 319e)
It is each bowler’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of their own average in handicap or classified tournaments, whether originally submitted by the bowler or others. Failure to use the correct average may disqualify the score if submitted average if lower than correct average, thereby resulting in a lower classification or more handicap. Prize winnings will be based on the submitted average, if it is higher than the correct average (Rule 319a-3).
All decisions of the tournament manager are final unless an appeal is made in accordance with Rule 329.
All USBC rules will apply.
This August my mother, Shantina James, and I will be participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day 60-Mile Walk for the Cure. Each year a select few cities host this walk and we have chosen to do the New England event. While this will be my third walk, my mother will be completing her twelfth!
Each year over 257,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with breast cancer and over 45,000 will lose their battles with the disease. The Susan G. Komen Foundation has invested more than $2.9 billion in groundbreaking research, community health outreach, advocacy and programs in more than 60 countries.
We would greatly appreciate your support in our efforts to combat and defeat this terrible disease. Not only will your donation help me reach my $3,000 goal, but it will also help to fund breast cancer awareness, research, and screenings to help with early detection.
