Static Films presents Breakup Season, a brand new independent holiday movie starring Chandler Riggs (The Walking Dead) and Samantha Isler (Molly's Game)
SYNOPSIS: A young man brings his girlfriend to his rural Oregon hometown for Christmas and to meet his family, but upon arriving, things do not go as planned and an argument leads to a breakup. However, because of the winter weather, his newly minted ex is now stuck with him and his family for the rest of the holiday season. Comedy, drama, and serious heartbreak ensue.
Breakup Season is a new feature film written and directed by H. Nelson Tracey, produced by Static Films of Los Angeles, and shot in La Grande, Oregon. Independently produced and financed, the film has made its way through the film festival circuit ahead of a theatrical and at-home release this winter. To date, Breakup Season has won over 30 awards, including "Best Feature Film" at ten different film festivals nationwide. It had its New Hampshire Premiere at the Monadnock Film Festival in October 2024.
