Celebrate the day of Pentecost with us this Sunday at Breakthrough Worship at SUMC! Don't know what Pentecost is? Don't worry, Pastor Luis has you covered. There is youth group after with dinner and fun for youth in grades 6-12 from 6-7 PM. Breakthrough is our new contemporary worship service at SUMC, and it's a little different. We sing, pray, read scripture, and hear a reflection from one of our pastors, BUT THEN we break out into small groups (elementary, middle, and high school have their own respective groups) to talk about what we just heard and how it applies to our lives. At the end we come back together to pray and sing some more and be sent out into the world. Childcare is provided during the service for preschool-aged children. We'd love for you to come check us out!
Because of the format of the service, we're not currently livestreaming Breakthrough. We invite you to come give it a try in person instead for the best experience :)
