We just launched our Type One Diabetes campaign for the breakthrough T1D on October 26! Last year we had five participants and this year Oaklen wants as many people walking beside him as possible. When you purchase a shirt for yourself or a family member your donation will be automatically applied to our team #doitlikeapruitt campaign, all the profits will go to raise money for type one diabetes research. Ultimately to find a cure. Please please please consider joining our team and walking with Oaklen. If you would like to purchase a shirt so we can all match as we walk beside him I think it would be extremely powerful!!! The front says “we are the village“ that cannot ring more true, just as the back says “in this family no one fights alone“. We want to show Oaklen that we are his village and he does not have to fight this alone. The number three is in honor of him as it is his baseball number. Let’s rally together around Oaklen and do this for all living with T1D.
The walk is on October 26th and to clarify you do NOT have to buy a shirt or donate to attend and participate!!! Having people there is our number one goal so please don’t feel like you have to buy a shirt to join us!! The walk starts at 9am and you choose the length between 1/4 mile and a 5K!
