We are very pleased to announce that our own Peter Murray will be giving us a 2-part demonstration at the SMA on Thursday 9th October, 7.30 to 9.30pm.Peter is very reticent about what he is actually going to demonstrate - he doesn't want to spoil the surprise!
His work is experimental and although he is a fan of acrylic paint in both standard and heavy bodied forms, he also uses oils, watercolour, inks and other mediums, often in a mixed media context, in a constant quest to make unique art to be enjoyed by appreciative buyers. He has had paintings accepted by The Stockport Open Exhibition, SK Arts, The East Cheshire Hospice Exhibition and The Derbyshire Open at Buxton Art Gallery.

Free to SMA members, visitors are welcome on the night for £5 including a free brew. We look forward to you joining us.
