So Say We All is thrilled to be collaborating with The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego - La Jolla for the career retrospective exhibit of artist Celia Álvarez Muñoz: Breaking the Binding.
We'll be presenting an evening of narrative pieces created in response to, and inspired by, Celia Álvarez Muñoz's art.

Spanning forty years of work, the artist’s playful, witty style is often characterized by her use of bilingual puns and mistranslations in both text and image. Muñoz often draws inspiration from her lived experience as a mother and as a resident of the United States-Mexico borderlands.
