Please join us for a special screening of Breaking Boundaries - Monday, February 23rd at 6 pm - with a reception and Q&A with Nastasya Generalova, the subject of the film, moderated by Allyson Davis of Allez! Sports. The documentary explores Black representation in elite gymnastics through the eyes of Nastasya Generalova.
Breaking Boundaries looks at Nastasya's personal journey of expression as the only Black girl in rhythmic gymnastics Team USA, as well as her relationship with her white Russian mother in the stressful lead up to Tokyo Olympics qualification - while navigating identity and self-love.
Nastasya's story is one of resilience, ambition and breaking through racial and systemic barriers in a traditionally white sport.

On PCH, the turning lane by the parking lot is no longer there. Please continue North to the traffic light. Take a right, and turn around. The light should change quickly so you’ll be able to take a left back onto PCH and turn right into the CV parking lot. Parking will be available in the CV lot.
About the Presenters:
Allyson J. Davis is a multidimensional award-winning sports and entertainment executive who has served senior roles at FOX Sports, E! Entertainment, NBC Universal Sports Network and Red Bull.
Currently, Ally is a co-founder in Allez! Sports,a global women’s sports media company building the next era of premium storytelling at the intersection of sport and culture. Drawing upon her creative sensibility, she effectively develops content and marketing strategy with insights, data, and technology that engage and connect with audiences. Her background includes launching, branding, rebranding, positioning, developing, and growing sports and entertainment businesses.
Ally has successfully executed numerous projects involving Olympic, endurance and action sport athletes. She has collaborated with esteemed sports organizations, events, and athletes such as, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA, U.S. Olympic Committee, Boston Marathon, Rugby World Cup, Ironman World Championships, and Mavericks Big Wave Surf.
She has won a Clio Award, multiple Telly and Cynopsis Sports Awards, a Communication Arts Award, and was a Promax finalist.
Ally lives in Los Angeles with her husband Steve and has the joy of raising her daughter, Noa and son, Ari.
