Calgary’s Must-Attend Awareness Event: Breaking Barriers - A Powerful Fusion of Music Fashion and Community Action
Calgary AB – April 20 2025 – A ground-breaking event is set to take over Calgary on April 20 2025 uniting music fashion and advocacy in an electrifying experience designed to spark conversation inspire change and uplift the community. With 26 dynamic musical artists a high-energy fashion show and expert-led discussions on mental health addiction physical disabilities and autoimmune conditions this event is not just about entertainment—it’s about making a real impact.
Organized as a celebration of resilience and empowerment this event will feature an exclusive fashion showcase by Mandeez Xclusif an insightful presentation by Crystal Clarissa Counselling and a charitable initiative led by Nanbert Manor collecting essential donations for those facing homelessness. The night promises to be an inspiring blend of art awareness and action bringing together people from all walks of life to stand in solidarity for important causes.
A highlight of the event will be a special performance featuring the viral song that has amassed 235000 views and climbing in just three months. Created by Calgary artist Solomon DaGreat (SDG) in collaboration with Toronto vocalist Denis Nisim and masterful producer RB Keys this song is a raw emotional reflection on the struggles of an artist close to SDG who battles daily with an autoimmune disease—while SDG himself fights his own battles with mental illness and addiction. A project two years in the making the song represents the artist’s personal journey toward healing and sobriety. April 17 2025 will mark SDG’s second anniversary in recovery making this performance a truly powerful and meaningful moment.
“For the past nine years I’ve been facilitating events through IPMG creating spaces where artists and communities come together” says Solomon IPMG event organizer. “In the past two years IPMG has been dedicated to providing platforms for up-and-coming artists and supporting local talent actively pursuing their craft. This event is about uniting people through the universal language of music and art while addressing crucial issues that impact so many lives. We want to create a space where awareness meets action where conversations lead to change and where the community comes together to make a difference.”
