In today's world, gender equality remains an ongoing challenge, affecting every aspect of society, from the workplace to politics, education, and beyond. Despite progress, there are still significant disparities in opportunities and representation between genders.
She Loves Data, in collaboration with Bank of Ireland, brings together this event that aims to delve deep into the complexities of the gender gap, examining its roots, impacts, and most importantly, solutions. Our distinguished panelists, experts in their respective fields, will share their experiences, insights, and strategies for overcoming obstacles and paving the way towards a more equitable future.
Whether you're a seasoned professional, a budding entrepreneur, or simply passionate about driving social change, this event offers a valuable opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and gain valuable insights.



Speakers

Rebecca Grier, a behavioral scientist who has worked in UX research/ Human Computer Interaction across multiple business sectors for two decades. It has been her privilege to influence the development of several disruptive technologies including streaming video, augmented reality, machine learning, & autonomous vehicles.

Additional highlights from her career include 4 book chapters, contributing to the first rewrite in 10 years of the U.S. Department of Defense's UX design standard, establishing user testing best practices for the U.S. DoD's Director of Operational Test & Evaluation, elected to the Human Factors Ergonomics Society (HFES) Executive Council, and chairing an SAE task force that authored an information report on design considerations for people with disabilities and autonomous vehicles.

She has a Ph.D. in Human Factors/ Applied Experimental Psychology from the University of Cincinnati and her BS from Loyola University Chicago. Currently she lives in Dublin, Ireland with her husband and 7 year old son and enjoys traveling and tabletop games.
Jeevantika Lingalwar, a Cloud Solution Architect in Microsoft. She has a Masters in Cloud
Computing and a B.E in Computer Science Engineering. Jeevantika is very passionate
about Women in Technology and Diversity & Inclusion. She founded the International Women in Tech group and is leading a community of more than 5800 amazing members.

She is a technology speaker and talks about the trending technology like AI and Quantum
Computing. Jeevantika is very determined to help and motivate young minds, she is a mentor to 60 young kids aged 8-15 years and teaches them about “Future in/of AI”. Jeevantika also has her own free mentorship program called as “Coffee chat with Jeevantika. She recently Started her own podcast called – The Unplanned Journey: Thriving amidst the unpredictable that celebrates the resilience of women navigating unexpected paths in life, shedding light on the challenges faced in careers, personal growth, and societal expectations.

Jeevantika is a mentor to international university students in Ireland. Jeevantika also inspires and motivates young girls to embark on rewarding careers in STEM, fostering a passion for innovation and exploration. Jeevantika is also nominated for various women in tech leadership awards in Ireland. An entrepreneur, leader, and a Tech speaker Jeevantika is passionate about helping others grow and share her experience and knowledge with everyone.
