About this Event
Would you like to know more about the birds that can be found in your local park? Would you like to be involved in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count? 🕊️
Celebrate National Bird Week and join Mark Fuller as he gives tips and tricks on identifying birds by 'tuning in' to the sights and sounds of the natural landscape, a process he calls 'Avianation'. It's not unusual for Mark to record 30 species on a morning's walk, from small bush birds to noisy parrots and always a chance of something special! We will also discuss the local Bushcare group at Fred Caterson reserve and how you can help them restore key bird habitat. The event will consist of a guided bird walk run by bird expert Mark Fuller, and a catered breakfast.
