About this Event
Technical standardization is essential to ensure the quality, security, and interoperability of digital products and services. In this context, ILNAS, whose mission includes supporting national stakeholders in the adoption of technical standards, will publish two new documents to be presented during a breakfast on Thursday, November 14th, 2024, from 09:30 AM to 11:15 AM.
The event will start with the introduction of a new technical report on quantum communication and technical standardization. This document provides an overview of the field of quantum communication, discusses some of the challenges related to its development, and highlights the main efforts of European and international standardization organizations in this area, which are notably examined within the National Standardization Commission “Quantum Technologies” (ILNAS/NSC 03).
ILNAS will also present the latest edition of the Standards Analysis for the ICT Sector, which provides an overview of the technical committees from European (CEN, CENELEC, and ETSI) and international (ISO and IEC) standardization bodies relevant to the ICT sector in Luxembourg. National stakeholders can use this strategic tool to stay informed about the state of the art in ICT technical standardization in Europe and worldwide and explore the opportunities available in Luxembourg to be more actively involved in it.
