Start your Sunday morning with the irresistible aromas and timeless flavors of Old Delhi! Join us for a Breakfast Food Walk through Chandni Chowk, where every stop tells a story of tradition, craftsmanship, and Delhi’s deep-rooted food culture.
This is a non-commercial, non-profit food walk — organized purely out of our shared passion for food and community.
We’ll be exploring some of Chandni Chowk’s most iconic breakfast spots, including:
• Makhan Lal Halwai – for their legendary bedmi poori and nagori halwa
• Meghraj – serving traditional sweets and snacks since generations
• Chaina Ram – home to the famous Karachi halwa Ghewar and Desi Ghee wali Poori
• Giani’s di Hatti – classic rabri falooda and Chole Bhature and lassi that define Old Delhi mornings
• Gol Hatti (if open) – known for its Dahi Bhalla andchole Rice bowls
• Kurchan (from Paranthe Wali Gali)
• Jalebi Wala – because no Delhi breakfast is complete without piping hot jalebis
…and a few hidden gems along the way!
Things to Remember
1. Timings: The walk begins at 9:00 AM sharp. We won’t be able to wait for latecomers, so please arrive on time.
2. Dress Comfortably: We’ll be walking through the lively lanes of Chandni Chowk — wear something light and easy to move in.
3. Stay Hydrated: Bring your own bottle of water.
4. Open to All: Everyone is welcome, provided you’re comfortable walking moderate distances.
5. Community Vibe: We’ll be sharing food, stories, and laughter. Plates will be shared, and the total cost of food will be split equally among participants.
