This is a great class for anyone with a movement background in any style of dance, sports, circus, martial arts, for B-boys and B-girls who want to refine their skills, for anyone who has taken classes with Lynx or for total beginners.
This is a multi-level class that will cater to all levels of students, from beginners to advanced.

The class will involve:
.
Learning the foundational movements of
B-boy/B-girl technique (Breakin/Breakdance):
Toprock, Go Downs, Footwork, Freezes, Dynamic Moves, Concepts , Transitions through Levels & Historical context of moves.

Rhythm, Timing, Balance, Strength, Speed & Musical Connection
.
Movement drills,
short combos & choreos,
integration of concepts, improvisation, freestyling, creating & cyphering
.
About Lynx:
Lynx began b-girling in 1998 with her b-girl crew Ellementale 5 and continues on to this day with her current b-girl crew Legendary.
.
Graduating with a BFA with Distinction in Contemporary Dance from Concordia University, Lynx has danced for the Bboyizm dance company and her choreographic work has been presented at Festivals in Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal.
.
Lynx has trained intensively in Breaking and Street Dance Styles with local and international master teachers from 1999 until the present day.
.
Lynx created a curriculum to teach
b-boy/b-girl technique to university-level dance students within the Dance Department at UQAM and continues to teach hundreds of students of all ages and abilities in Montreal and across Canada.
.
She has worked with First Nations and Inuit youth at risk in remote northern communities and with people of all ages and disabilities.
.
2024 marks her 26th year of Breaking and her 21st year of teaching, which she considers to be one of her greatest gifts and blessings.
.
Lynx continues to compete and has won 21 competitions across North America including the 2022 Redbull Montreal B-girl Battle and 2023 Quebec regional championships.
.
She is often invited to judge competitions nationally and in the U.S. and is frequently invited as a guest speaker for symposiums and panel discussions.
Lynx has organized numerous dance events in Montreal since 2004.
.
She has been honored with multiple awards including the Under Pressure 20th anniversary Tribute Award
'In recognition of her ongoing dedication and contributions to the Hip Hop Community'
.
Lynx is a renowned B-girl in the Canadian scene and in 2024 she continues on her journey of artistic expression with the goal of uplifting herself and others through dance and creativity.
