In this class, students will learn the art of “primitive” basket weaving. Primitive describes a pure weaving method that uses no glue, staples, or other substances other than wooden red. Mrs. Schafer has over 40 years of experience using and teaching this time-honored craft. By the end of the class, students will have created an heirloom-quality basket to keep or give as a gift.
