About this Event
Welcome to Brazos Valley Speed Dating! Are you ready to meet new people and potentially find a connection in your age range? Join us in person at the Milton Parker Estate (the second oldest mansion in Bryan!) for a fun and relaxed evening of speed dating in a gorgeous and historic setting.
This event is exclusively for local folks aged 30-39 looking to meet like-minded individuals in a relaxed and casual setting. Don't miss this opportunity to make new friends or even find that special someone. Register now and get ready for a night of laughter, conversation, and maybe even a spark!
Event Structure
- Check-In & Mingle (30 mins): Get checked in with staff, grab your nametag, fill out a raffle card, get a drink, get some snacks, and go to your assigned seat when it's time to start.
- Instructions (5 mins): Staff will welcome you and provide you with instructions on how the rounds will move.
- Speed Dating Rounds with Breaks (60-90 mins - depending on # of daters): Women stay seated while the men rotate to the next highest numbered table at the end of each 5-minute date. Organizers time the dates and give instructions for everyone to move to their next date. Every 4-5 dates, there is a break for snacks, bathroom, exploring the mansion, and grabbing a drink.
- Closing (5 mins): Draw the winner of the raffle, and give instructions for how to submit your connection card after the event.
- Post-Event (until midnight): Daters submit their connection cards digitally for who they'd like to connect with for a second date. Within 48 hours, BVSD will email you with your connection(s) or to let you know if you did not connect with anyone at this event. We encourage everyone to submit a form even if they don't want to connect with anyone they met for a second date, as we still want your feedback and thoughts!

Built in 1885 by Milton Parker and his wife, Molly, this historic home has stood just a few blocks from Downtown Bryan through much of the community's storied past. Today, the property serves as a charming bed and breakfast, and a beautifully restored example of Victorian architecture.
Speed dating rounds will be taking place throughout the downstairs of the mansion, so daters will get to experience the parlors, dining room, and kitchen. They'll also have an opportunity to explore the property!
