🌟 Welcome to Brazilian Zouk - a Latin partner dance now sweeping the world with its infectious rhythms and fun movements! 🌟❓ What is Brazilian Zouk?
Brazilian Zouk is a beautiful partner dance from Brazil, with origins in Lambada and Brazilian ballroom dances, and with wide and varied influences ranging across R’n’B, hip hop, contemporary, and more! We can dance to a huge variety of music, with a diverse range of styles, making it one of the most versatile and creative partner dances! It really does offer something for everyone, so come along and try it out! 🎶
❓ Who is this for?
If you are new to partner dancing or new to Brazilian Zouk, you are welcome to join this taster class! Old friends are also very welcome to join us 🤩
No experience needed!
After the class we will have a social, and then off to the pub for a drink and chat! 🥳
❓ Do I need a partner?
No partner required, we all rotate partners and dance with everyone! Although if you prefer, you are welcome to come as a pair and stay dancing together 💃
❓ What's next?
Our Foundations course is 5 weeks, and will be starting Thursday 15th Jan, at Cambridge Artworks and Artspace, on Green’s Rd. If you can’t make it, don’t worry! We will be starting another 5 week Foundations course on the 19th Feb.
