Our BJJ class is taught by Instructor David Ortiz. Instructor Ortiz started training at the age of 5 in TKD and is a 4th Degree Black Belt. He served 17 years in the US Army with 3 tours in Afghanistan/2 in Iraq. He was a level 3 Army combative instructor. After he left the Army he became a federal police officer. Mr. Ortiz has been teaching children and adult's martial arts for over 15 years. He is a Black Belt and certified instructor in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Master Pedro Sauer. He is a 3rd Degree Black belt in Hapkido certified instructor in Krav Maga with Krav Maga Universal and a certified Kru Instructor in Muay Thai. He was a 2016 NAGA World Champion in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 2-time IKF World Champion in Kickboxing and 3-time gold medalist in AAU Competition for TKD.
