Renowned pianist, André Mehmari has forged a language of tremendous expressive power from the resources of Brazilian, jazz and classical music. He deploys his instinct for composition in the writing of new works, arrangements, and through interpretation. Widely recognized as an artistic leader of his generation, he has been awarded prizes both in Brazilian popular music and classical music.
