About this Event

Join the Braver Angels D.C. Alliance and D.C. Project for a Braver Angels Debate on "Resolved: Conservatives need to be depolarized more than liberals."

Monday, June 12th from 6-8pm, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library - Central Library, 901 G St. NW, Washington D.C., in Conference Room 401-A.

At this parliamentary-style debate, all are welcome to speak their views freely and without fear, and the goal is to learn about our own views, our opponents' views, and the issues from all perspectives. The point is not to win, but to learn; the debate is best seen as a collective search for truth on issues and ideas important to us all. The chair will explain the rules of debate at the beginning, and the debate will close with a debrief.
