ABOUT THE EVENT
At Brave Stage we celebrate your courage above all else.
This is a place to come and be at your edge.
To move outside your comfort zone in whatever way that means to you.
Brave Stage is a mix between a facilitated event and an open mic.
We co-create the warmest and most supportive environment to help you feel great about stepping onto the stage to do something you might not normally do on another stage.
The rest is up to you!
This is for you who knows that stretching outside your comfort zone is the way to grow.
Who’s had a dream of doing SOMETHING on a stage but hasn’t quite had the opportunity.
Or who has something new you'd like to bring to your performances that asks you to step outside the comfort zone of what you're used to doing.
Now is the time!
However much (or little) experience we have being on a stage, there's always a way to move into our stretch zone...
How can YOU use this stage to be brave?
ALL IS WELCOME on the stage, except, of course, for any form of expression that advocates, incites, promotes or justifies hatred, violence, discrimination against any person or group for any reason.
This is not only a music event and historically people have been very creative with what they bring to the stage.
A wonderful, electric, magic atmosphere is created when people dare to step into the spotlight in a way that requires courage and going to their edge.

(Doors open 17:30, performances start 17:45)
Performances slots will be around 5 minutes.
HOW TO SIGN UP TO PERFORM 👇
You can sign up in advance via email to guarantee yourself a spot (you'll get the info on how to do that when you sign up).
The first half of brave stage before the break is scheduled, i.e. you sign up for a spot. - you do this in advance via email or at the door when you arrive (subject to availability)
After the break we run a more spontaneous format where you simply raise your hand to claim the stage.
SOUND SETUP 👇
There will be a simple sound setup of an amp with 2 outputs, one line (guitar or other instrument), and one line or microphone.
There will be a guitar, microphone and djembe drum available to use.
DO YOU NEED ACCOMPANIMENT? 👇
If you would like to be accompanied on the guitar, you need to fix it within 48 hours before the event start so I have time to learn your song. I mayyyy be able to do it spontaneously but can't guarantee. Info on how to book accompaniment is given when you sign up.
EATING AND DRINKING 👇
This is a sober event!
You’re welcome to bring your dinner box and soft drinks to consume during the event and the break.
