About this Event
Becoming an anti-racist is a lifelong process. This curriculum is designed to lead a small community of faculty, staff, and students in a deep dive into anti-racist practice. It explores readings and activities that provide various levels of engagement. This learning community is aimed at those who want to a) gain confidence talking about race with people of racial-ethnic backgrounds other than their own, b) frame dialogue with open, honest questions, c) practice what to do or say in contentious exchanges or d) reflect on your contexts for action. We partner to co-create psychological safety, bravery, and belonging, regardless of status.
Because we want to create an ideal small, diverse community that will cap at 20 participants, we encourage you to as soon as possible. By registering for this opportunity, participants are strongly encouraged to commit to all sessions, which run on Wednesdays from 2:00-4:00 pm EST, on January 29, February 12, February 26, March 12, March 26, April 9, and April 23, virtually via Zoom.
