Here we go with another season of ART & COMMUNITY, of course it's Gallery Walk (and Bratt First Fridays). That's right, from here on out we'll refer to the 16 walkable gallery stroll as Gallery Walk (May-Dec), and the Block Party style festivities with street closure + food + music + libations as Brattleboro First Fridays (May-October). We hope this messaging will make our communication more clear about what's happening when. Gallery Walk- MAY!

Bratt First Friday- MAY!
Elliot Street & Harmony Lot will be closed to traffic making a big ol' hub of festivities in the center of downtown.
Outdoor Beer Garden (Harmony Lot): Stone Church will once again be slinging beer, wine and seltzers, and frosty ones at that!
The Stage (Harmony Lot): Every month Harmony Lot becomes an outdoor music hall featuring live music from 6-9pm. This month we welcome: Jatoba! They've been slinging their unique brand of jam grass for a couple decades now, most recently turning heads at Northland Music Festival. Think upright bass, banjo, guitars, and dancing!
Food Trucks (Harmony Lot): You can expect a rotating group of 10-12 food trucks at each event. Our vendors include:
Cousin's Maine Lobster
Thai Hut
Crossroads Street Tacos
802 Soul Kitchen
Taza Naan
Kamila's Kitchen
Amy's Macarons
Paradox Pastry
Frisky Cow Gelato
Shree's Kitchen
Susan's Lemonade
Anon's Thai
Hidden Bean Bakeshop
Green Mountain Ramen
Mach's Mobile Pizza
The Maker’s Market (Elliot Street) at Brattleboro First Fridays is where local artists, makers, and vintage vendors can show off their wares. Each month 30+ vendors transform Elliot Street into a vibrant marketplace with a wide array of unique and eclectic goods. Find ceramics, jewelry, cards + prints, natural medicinals, home goods, clothing, plants + flowers, and more!
Extra Fun!
Sometimes, there are extras- extra performances, extra activities, opportunities to become part of the art-making. Sometimes a sprinkler! This month's Extra Fun includes:
BMAC (at BMAC): Manager of Education Programs Kate Milliken leads visitors in the creation of rich and lovely flowers, constructed from paper and inspired by the exhibition, "Yeon Ji Yoo: Wish You Were Here." In June, try Fluxus line dancing, inspired by "Nye Ffarrabas: Truth IS A Verb!," on the lawn in front of the museum. Details at BrattleboroMuseum.org
NEYT: Every month a contingent of NEYT actors will claim a small stage in Harmony Lot and dazzle you with their chops at 5pm.
Cheshire Cats Jump-Roping Team: For the third year running, the Cheshire Cats will perform in harmony Lot.
Vermont Armored Combat: Knights clashing steel for entertainment, we're in! Located in Harmony Lot.
