Just a reminder of the Hall Heritage Centre's major fundraising activity - Brass on the Grass. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Canberra Brass bands establishment. It began life in a shed on Victoria Street when 4 local musicians got together to play some brass music.
This special birthday will be celebrated with the 60 strong band marching up Victoria Street from the Hall Post Office to the Heritage Centre grounds at 1pm on 13 October. This will be followed by an afternoon of band music at 1:30pm.
