This clean-up will include some interesting side quests!
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing* and get ready to have some fun!
* This is a rain or shine event - bring weather-appropriate outer-gear, and gloves if you have them (some will be provided). A backpack is always a welcome accessory. All volunteers will also need to have a signed waiver (we will provide but here's a preview)
Project Goals:
* Clean Brandywine Street
* Empower volunteers to make a difference in the cleanup of Brandywine. We will bag trash so that City staff can easily remove them.
* Inspire civic pride & participation. We will elevate awareness of civic organizations and invite volunteers and passersby to register to vote, and join the ONE Schenectady movement.
* Have fun together while building community!
