Brandon High School 40th Reunion Party

We have decided to forego formal or business attire for the Saturday night event at the Tradewinds. Instead, we are going to have an 80s-themed party. Plan on wearing your vintage concert t-shirts, Member’s Only jackets, service club jerseys, and Converse tennis shoes. Ladies, we want to see big hair! Men, “bilevel” (we didn’t call them mullets back then!) hairstyles would be appropriate. The goal is for everybody to be comfortable, nostalgic, and ready to mingle and dance. To go with our theme, we will have an eight-piece band that will play a broad range of music, including of course, 80s tunes from all genres.
We will not have a sit-down dinner. Instead, we will have terrific buffet that will include ribeye steak with demi-glace, grilled chicken with a whole-grain mustard cream sauce, grilled mahi with mango salsa, tortellini with goat cheese and spinach in a saffron cream sauce, coconut rice, marinated grilled asparagus, exotic mushroom bisque, baby greens with assorted dressings, and assorted desserts. There should be something for everybody. The room will be set up in a fashion to allow folks to move around and talk to classmates, rather than assigned tables.
