About this Event

Join the Volusia/Flagler Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 16 for an enlightening session with Andy Jorishie, President of Advertising for the Zimmerman Agency, and expert leader in the field of advertising and brand strategy.

This session will focus on the basics of planning, emphasizing the crucial role that research and data play in crafting effective brand strategies. Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to the field of public relations and advertising, this presentation will equip you with valuable insights and methodologies for developing data-driven branding initiatives.

With an impressive career spanning over 36 years, Andy started his journey at Y&R NY, contributing to the growth of some of the world's most renowned brands like The Walt Disney Company, CitiBank, and the US Army. His extensive experience includes leading the Citibank AAdvantage account to an EFFIE Award victory and pioneering Sony's entry into the online gaming sector. Since joining The Zimmerman Agency in 2004, and later becoming its President of Advertising in 2021, Andy has been pivotal in developing “Momentum,” the agency's proprietary planning process.

The professional development luncheon will be held in the Dennis McGee Room at the Daytona Beach International Airport. Register by noon on May 10. Lunch is included in the cost of $30 for members, $40 for non-members, and $15 for students. Walk-ins are accepted but lunch for walk-ins is not guaranteed.
