If you like a bit of an adventure then this is a walk of discovery, horses, trains, fairies and swings!... oh and a secret garden! ABOUT THE WALK
and Kick off the New Year with one of my absolute favourite routes! This walk is brimming with charm and variety, offering something for everyone. We’ll start with a gentle stroll along the Brampton Valley Way , where we’ll spot old trains, station houses, and soak up a bit of railway nostalgia.
From there, we’ll meander through green water meadows and peaceful woodland trails before arriving in the picture-perfect village of Church Brampton . Expect to see chocolate-box thatched cottages, quaint houses, and perhaps even catch the comforting scent of wood-burning stoves wafting through the air.
The real magic of this walk lies in a little surprise – a secret garden I discovered while geocaching. To enter, we’ll pass through a hidden door, adding a sprinkle of adventure to our outing.
After our walk, we’ll visit Brampton Halt for a well-deserved Sunday dinner, sharing stories and laughter over a hearty meal.
