Dr. Wintta K. Ghebreiyesus – Founder, Moon Trades

Wintta Ghebreiyesus is the Founder & CEO of Moon Trades Technologies, focused on autonomous robotics for lunar mining and sustainable energy solutions. With a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University, she has over a decade of experience in AI-powered robotics, environmental sustainability, and advanced manufacturing. Wintta is committed to advancing in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) and leveraging technology for real-world impact. She also mentors emerging leaders in deep tech, space innovation, and sustainability.


Gurpreet Singh – Founder & CEO, Canadian Space Incubator Inc.

Gurpreet Singh is a space engineer and the founder of Canadian Space Incubator Inc., a Brampton-based startup advancing orbital sustainability through high-altitude observation technologies. He leads the SOBER project (Stratospheric Observatory for Brightness Evaluation and Reporting), which uses balloon-borne electro-optical systems to measure the brightness of satellites and assess their environmental impact on dark skies. Gurpreet is also a PhD candidate at the University of Waterloo and has collaborated with the European Space Agency, Canadian Space Agency, and international partners on optical payload design, calibration, and mission development.


Moderator : John Dias – CEO & Founder of Dias Learning Interactive Ltd.

John Dias is an award-winning entrepreneur and certified teacher. He is the CEO & Founder of Dias Learning Interactive Ltd., an innovative education company focused on developing interactive S.T.E.A.M. lessons for children in both French and English. Many of Dias Learning’s science programs are focused on space, robotics, and environmental sustainability. John is also the founder of the T.I.L.E. (Toronto International Language Exchange) program. He studied executive leadership at the Rotman School of Management and also completed his MA, Bed, and HBA at the University of Toronto. He plans to pursue a PhD in language and literacy education, and to develop many more multilingual educational programs for children focused on space!
