Speakers:

  • Dr. Stuart Fogel, Associate Professor in the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa, researcher at The Royal’s Institute of Mental Health Research in Ottawa and director of the University of Ottawa Sleep Research Laboratory.
  • Connie Putterman, MHSc in Translational Research, Family Engagement in Research Coordinator at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and advocate and advisor for the autism research and neuro-developmental community. Co-founder, co-developer, co-instructor of the Family Engagement in Research program through CanChild/ McMaster/ KBHN.
  • Dr. Alison Smith, an expert in neurophysiology and applications that can alter brain functioning, and co-founder of Roga, a mental healthcare platform and wearable device to manage stress and burnout.


Featuring a mindfulness meditation by:

Erika Caspersen, Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Mentor and Coach.

Erika enjoys helping others discover their own capacity for healing, insight and well-being. She is a Certified Unified Mindfulness Teacher/Trainer, Certified MindSize Coach and a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and Mentor in awareness and compassion based practices. She is completing her Master’s Degree in Consciousness, Spirituality and Transpersonal Psychology and is a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying).



Moderator:

Dr. Krishana Sankar, a trained Scientist, Science Communicator and currently works as a Science Advisor for a globally recognized anti -misinformation initiative.
