I am absolutely thrilled to kick off the New Year by welcoming Arne, pattern maker and teacher from the Booby Traps team (in Sydney) to share her industry knowledge in not one, but two bra making workshops in January 2025.Booby Traps are industry leaders in bra making patterns and were the first Australian company to offer patterns and kits to the home sewer. I’m delighted to host these classes here at The Maker’s Corner.
This full day workshop is designed to be the introduction to your bra making journey and Arne’s focus will be on teaching you about bra fabrics, construction techniques and how to sew a structured bra.
Please note that while you will receive helpful tips on bra fitting, there will not be time to custom fit during the class or teach how to measure for a bra fit.
On occasion, bra patterns may need to be adjusted once or even a couple of times to get the perfect fit. If alterations are needed to custom fit more to your needs, Arne will do her best to make those adjustments before you leave and offer you additional help and resources for after the class.
You will need to select your pattern and kit prior to the class and after booking, you will be given a link to the page to order.
