Her tutor is Frank; a jaded academic and an alcoholic who is less than enthusiastic about taking on an open university student. Yet he’s fascinated by her take on life and realizes she has potential.An insightful look into the ways that social class and education can shape who we are, and a careful study in the uncertainty of transformation as we go through life wishing for something we don’t have.
