About this Event
B.P.M is a group of local Philadelphia musicians consisting of Eli Pace on bass, Tate Berkey on drums, and Jake Miller on guitar. Even though they met through the jazz studies program at Temple University, each member of B.P.M has a rich history of playing styles outside of the jazz idiom. Through their shared interests in blues, rock, metal, and funk, Tate, Jake, and Eli decided to form a trio that honored the styles of music they grew up playing while also maintaining the aspects of jazz that brought them all together. B.P.M seeks to recreate the innovations of genre-defying musicians such as Wayne Krantz, Adam Rogers, and Oz Noy while providing their spin on the music, influenced by each member's unique sound, and musical upbringing.
