Two turntables and one drum set. Otomo Yoshihide, Emilie Škrijelj and Tom Malmendier are coming to Bozar with this unusual set-up. Since the 1980s, Yoshihide has been exploring all the possibilities of the turntable in sets where free improvisation and influences from noise, free jazz and electronic music intertwine. Škrijelj and Malmendier, in turn, have been experimenting for years as the free improvisation duo Les Marquises. Prepare for an evening of uncompromising and radical music.

Yellow Swans is back. After a hiatus of fifteen years, Bozar is proud to welcome the legendary impro-noise duo. From 2001 to 2008, Gabriel Mindel Saloman and Pete Swanson made their mark on the American experimental music underground. With recent releases such as Left Behind (2023) and Out Of Practice I & II (2024), one thing is certain: their music, at the intersection of noise, psychedelia, industrial, drone and hardcore, has lost none of its power.
