Collectors Edition Volume 5
The world's first fine art photography magazine dedicated to queer and gay photography—ad free.
$1 from the sale of each magazine will go to charities supporting the LGBTQ+ community and fighting the HIV / AIDS epidemic.
Volume 5 includes ten photographers Ahmad Naser Eldein (Palestine), Nigel Grimmer (UK), Lagartier (Mexico), Hannes van der Merwe (Canada), Jacopo Paglione (Italy), Francisco Rosas (Mexico), Ruben Van Schalm (The Netherlands), Liu Tao (China), The Skinny Type (UK), Shen Wei (China / USA).
Volume 5 includes a special feature & interview with Chinese-American fine art photographer Shen Wei.
BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! is a project by The Little Black Gallery, curated by co-founder Ghislain Pascal, to promote queer and gay photography.
It now represents more than 60 photographers from 30 countries - including China, India, Iran, Poland, and Russia where gay rights are repressed and queer lives under constant threat.
BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! includes exhibitions, books, bi-annual magazine, photography courses, competitions, and online art platform.
Ghislain Pascal was a celebrity agent and publicist for many years—including as agent to the legendary photographer Bob Carlos Clarke. Following the death of Bob Carlos Clarke in 2006 he manages The Estate of Bob Carlos Clarke. He co-founded The Little Black Gallery, one of London's leading photography galleries, in 2008 with Tamara Beckwith Veroni. He is an avid collector of photography which are housed in a permanent exhibition space at his home in France. He is the Editor of the BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! books and magazines.
Scott Alexander Hess is the author of six novels, including Skyscraper, a Lambda Literary Award Finalist, and The Butcher’s Sons, which was named a Kirkus Reviews Best Book of 2015. His writing has appeared in HuffPost, Genre Magazine, The Fix, Thema Literary Review, and elsewhere. Hess co-wrote "Tom in America," an award-winning short film, starring Sally Kirkland and Burt Young. He is a Lambda Literary Awards judge and was an America’s Next Great Author finalist 2022. He teaches fiction writing at Gotham Writers Workshop and curates Hot Lit, an LGBTQ+ themed monthly newsletter. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Hess lives in New York City with his husband.
