With roots deep in the mountains of Western NC, Balsam Range has become one of the most celebrated acts in modern bluegrass.
Formed in 2007 from a humble kitchen jam session, the group has since earned 13 IBMA Awards, including multiple wins for Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, and Vocal Group of the Year.
In 2025, they welcomed special guest Don Rigsby, a bluegrass legend in his own right, whose high-lonesome tenor vocals and fiddle bring a fresh dynamic to the band's signature sound.

Season tickets for Boykin Series 28 go on sale June 16 for Wilson Arts members and June 19 for the general public.
Individual show tickets go on sale July 2 for Wilson Arts members and July 16 for the general public.
Sales tax will be added to all ticket purchases. Online orders are subject to service fees. All Boykin Series performance tickets are reserved seating through Etix. All ticket sales are final unless a performance is cancelled by Wilson Arts.
