August 23rd is a NATIONWIDE day of action against Avelo Airlines and their profiteering off human suffering by running deportation flights for ICE. Across the country, people will be assembling outside airports through which Avelo operates to tell them their complicity does not fly with us! In addition to messages against Avelo Airlines, we welcome signs protesting the Everglades internment camp and the future internment camp at Fort Blanding in north Florida.
Show up and speak out against these atrocities! Don't look back and regret not being on the right side of history. The least we can do is bring attention to these horrors and show immigrants that we support them and they are welcome here!
Please assemble on the sidewalks ACROSS from SRQ Airport. Bring water, extra signs (if you have them), and friends to create a bigger impact.
