👥 The darkwave duo from Northampton, Massachusetts, has carved out a unique space in the world of underground electronic music with their intoxicating blend of brooding synths, pulsating beats, and captivating vocal performances. 🌙 Since 2014, Boy Harsher have consistently set the standard for darkwave and new industrial. Matthews and Muller, who met while studying film in Savannah, GA, first explored music through cinema, with Matthews writing screenplays and Muller composing scores for nonexistent films. Their debut EP, Lesser Man, gained underground success after a small cassette release. 2016’s Yr Body is Nothing LP and 2017’s Country Girl EP led to extensive tours and sold-out shows across the US and Europe, earning a reputation for their intense live performances. Their momentum continued with the acclaimed 2019 LP Careful, praised by NPR Music, Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, VICE, and more.
