Bowling for the Brave 2026

Battle of the Brave is back… this time with a twist!  For the 8th annual Battle of the Brave, we thought we’d try something a little different…. BOWLING for the Brave!

This annual competition and fundraiser teams up POLICE vs. FIRE in a bowling competition hosted by Town and Country Lanes in Joliet…. Teams will compete for a $500 cash prize and even more importantly…. Bragging rights!   But you don’t have to pick a side… come on out for a great day of fun, all in support of a fantastic cause.  

For the past 8 years, WJOL has teamed up with ExxonMobil to support the 100 Club of Will County.  Since 1967, the 100 Hundred Club of Will County has provided financial support to families of firefighters, policemen, and emergency responders whose loved one make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. 100% of donations to the 100 Club go back to the community, there are no paid employees only volunteers.

So start building your team, and join WJOL, ExxonMobil, and the 100 Club of Will County at Bowling for the Brave, Saturday January 24 at Joliet’s Town and Country Lanes for an afternoon of bowling, food, games, and you might even catch one of WJOL’s DJs behind the bar serving drinks…

Pre-registration is required. Your Registration fee covers 3 games of bowling + shoes, a buffet lunch, and a donation to the 100 Club.  Space is limited, so don’t wait… join us for a fun afternoon supporting an amazing local cause.
