AAZK Jacksonville presents our 33rd annual Bowling for Rhinos wildlife fundraiser! This bowl-a-thon fundraiser supports all five rhino species in existence as well as their habitats and surrounding communities. Money from BFR supports Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya, International Rhino Foundation, and Action for Cheetahs Kenya. Much of money raised supports anti-poaching units and covers over 1.2 million acres of wild habitat! BFR is a national event that is held by AAZK chapters all across the United States since 1990. AAZK Jacksonville has participated since this event's inception and has been able to raise over $200,000 thanks to dedicated wildlife supporters such as yourself. All together across the nation BFR has been able to raise an astounding $8.7 million!
Bowling for Rhinos as something for everyone - our events July 22nd & 23rd include an online auction, chance drawing, educational opportunities, merchandise, Bold City Brewery beer, and bowling. Registration begins at 6pm each night and bowling occurs from 7-9pm. We ask $25 for bowlers and $10 for non-bowlers. Bowlers registration includes shoes and two games of bowling. Bowling skills not required to attend - just an open mind and a love for rhinos. Stay tuned to this page for more details.
