Bowling for Breast Health on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at North Crest Lanes (229 Great Northern Road).A charitable event to raise funds for a mammography unit at the Group Health Centre. Participants can enjoy bowling and prizes with entry fees of $25 for adults and $12 for children under 10. The evening includes the option for pre-ordered pizza from Aurora's, refreshments from a cash bar, and the opportunity to purchase lottery tickets, with various prizes available through contests, stub draws, and the "Strike Out Breast Cancer" mini game.
GHC’s Diagnostic Imaging Department is part of the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) and performs close to 6,000 screenings per year as a public community service.
