Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wood Buffalo's fourth annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake is a FUN-raising event where you get together with friends, family, and co-workers to have a great time bowling in support of young people in Wood Buffalo!
Bowl For Kids' Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters’ signature FUN-raising event, bringing together friends, family, and coworkers for an exciting day of bowling to raise funds for our evidence-based, free mentoring programs in Wood Buffalo. It’s an easy and fun way for individuals and companies to make a meaningful impact in our community. Just a little effort in fundraising can make all the difference for the success of our programs.
Teams raise donations and then join us at The Alley YMM on Saturday, March 22, to celebrate their efforts by bowling in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters! Teams of 4-6 players are encouraged to set a fundraising goal of $500, and they can choose a 90-minute time slot between 2 PM and 8 PM (final slot ends at 9:30 PM), on a first-come, first-served basis. Come dressed to impress – the best-dressed team will win a prize, and there will be other prizes up for grabs throughout the event!
We’re thrilled to have The Alley YMM return as our event partner this year and besides supporting our event, they are offering pizza and refreshments at a discounted price to all participants while they bowl.
Every dollar raised stays in our local community. Having a mentor can dramatically improve a young person's emotional, social, and physical well-being, and when our youth are healthy, our whole community thrives.
