How does BFK work?
*Teams of 5 bowlers obtain pledges equal to or greater than the team fee of $150, or simply pay the entire amount of at least $150 (payment options on brochure).
*Many teams raise or donate much more than the minimum which helps us meet our $17,777 goal.
*All funds raised benefit the Youth Mentoring program
directly.
How is the money used?
Funds are used in a variety of ways including:
*We match youth mentoring participants with a caring adult role model who helps navigate the difficulties they face each day.
*Participants receive YMCA membership and program privileges at little to no cost.
*All participants are enrolled in swimming lessons until they have learned to swim.
*Participants receive an additional discount off Summer Day Camp pricing.
*Seasonal activities, programs and outings for participants.
...and much more.
