Short + relatively easy snowshoe hike with a huge reward! It's what this group is about. . Some things to know:1. We are meeting at Black Mountain Lodge. This is the lodge that has washrooms and is in the ski area.
2. The hike is approximately 4.5 km roundtrip and 150 meters of elevation.

3. You can do this hike in crampons or spikes. You may be able to get by with grippy hiking shoes but be cautious. Bring poles if you have sensitive knees.
4. Please park at Lot 3B. This is the only free lot. The other lots are pay lots.
5. Bring a headlamp. We may be hiking and enjoying the view for 1.5 hours.
