This event is all about coming together as a community and taking action to keep our neighborhood clean and beautiful. We believe that by working together, we can create a lasting impact and foster a sense of unity, safety, and pride in our community.
Here's what you can expect at our event:
- Music to add a lively atmosphere as we clean
- Cleaning supplies provided, including trash bags, gloves, and claws (CleanCity DC)
- Bring the kids along! We will have sidewalk chalk for them to unleash their creativity and add color to our sidewalks.
- Hydration provided by Smartwater!
During the event, you have two options:
- Walk: Take a leisurely walk around our neighborhood, appreciating its beauty and enjoying some fresh air. Connect with fellow community members and immerse yourself in the community spirit.
- Plog: Join our plogging group for a faster pace and a more intensive workout. Plogging combines jogging with picking up litter, providing a fitness opportunity with a positive environmental impact.
By participating in this event, you will not only contribute to the cleanliness of our neighborhood but also have the chance to meet new people, make friends, and strengthen the sense of community.
