Hosting a Beer and street food festival in Honor of Anthony Bourdain!After May, the most food-focused month in Miami’s calendar; we felt the need to celebrate the other side of the food & beverage scene of the city - the local masterminds; what’s been happening, and all the emerging street-food concepts and locally-owned breweries that are keeping our traditions and culture alive.
All of this in celebration of Bourdain Day. Anthony Bourdain was a major inspiration for us to truly showcase the local foodie scene, and he is the reason we have decided to create Allapattah SBFF, to honor him with a few cold beers and delicious bites created by the emerging talent of Miami - the local guys and gals that have been creating excellence since their inception.
With the inevitable growth of Miami and the massive amount of money, hospitality groups, and restaurant chains coming to venture into the city, we asked ourselves, shouldn’t we do what Bourdain would do? To bring the focus back to our community, showcase our roots and highlight those locally-owned, sometimes even family-owned concepts, the restaurants, and breweries that are an intrinsic part of our city
